This course introduces students to the philosophy of Six Sigma. Topics include the history of Six Sigma and the Six Sigma problem solving methodology..  

Prerequisites: None.  Corequisites:  None.

The ability to identify and explain the philosophies of operational excellence, focusing on six sigma problem solving methodologies.

The ability to strategically deploy the tools of six sigma in DMAIC application scenarios.
